11C1 Homework
*THE 'REVISION WEBSITE' BUTTON ABOVE TAKES YOU TO A REVISION WEBISTE WE HAVE SET UP. PLEASE USE THIS!*
Set Wednesday 30/4/14, due Wednesday 7/5/14
The exams are nearly upon us! To help you prepare, please complete more of your revision pack. I would like you to focus on areas you are less confident on (there is no point revising stuff you already know). I would suggest chemistry, however I will leave this decision up to you.
PLEASE use your blue revision packs to help you revise, instead of writing down just what you remember or what's in your book. The revision packs hold EVERYTHING you need to know.
You need to complete one of the following. Either:
TWO mindmaps, or
ONE mindmap and ONE 6 mark question, or
TWO six mark questions
This is the absolute minimum, if you wish to complete more I would encourage this. I will mark everything you give me.
Please come and see me with any questions / problems
Good luck all!

11C1 Exam Analysis homework
Set Wednesday 12/2/14, due Monday 24/2/14 I returned your week 5 assessments to you on Wednesday before half term. I would like you to do two things with this assessment for your homework. 1. I have uploaded the mark scheme opposite. Please go through your paper, and see where you dropped marks, and write in what you missed. This is help you understand how to avoid dropping those marks in future. Bring this into Monday's lesson after half term. 2. I have uploaded a spreadsheet that lists the questions on the assessment, with a space for you to fill out how many marks you got for each question. Please fill this out and bring to Monday's lesson (you can write it out on a sheet of paper or email it to me if you don't have a printer). Once I've collected these in, I will be able to see which areas we need to revise most. For those of you who would like to do a little extra revision, I have also included the link to the AQA website where you can access past papers and mark schemes. The best way to use these is to print a paper off and complete it, then go through it with the mark scheme to see where you dropped marks. Don't forget, before you answer a question, underline the key words in the question to see what it's asking you, and use the information they give you in the question! From the drop down menus you need to choose: Biology - GCSE - 4401 Chemistry - GCSE - 4402 Have a lovely half term, and try to relax (even just a little bit!) |
